This class includes pretty much everything: taiji, bagua, xingyi, qigong, basic stretches, foundation exercises. All students are asked to learn several stretches and some foundation exercises.
After an introduction to each system, each student has the opportunity to choose one to focus on. Once practice is sufficient, the student can learn another system. Clarity and the character of the movements matters.
The topics move from fundamental anatomy to specifics for each movement to the basics of traditional Chinese medicine to the concept of qi and what it means in daily practice.
Basic concepts and vocabulary in Mandarin are included.
