Macrame, a form of textile produced using knotting techniques, derives from the early American needlepoint and knitting practice, crochet. In this holiday-themed workshop, you'll knot a decorative Christmas tree, macra-making yourself a special memento to hang on your tree or gift to a loved one.
Families are welcome and encouraged to attend this evening session of the Holiday Macrame Workshop.
Tickets include hands-on instruction, all materials and holiday themed snacks from Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen. This program is presented by the Winter Park Health Foundation and taught by Victoria Walsh, an Artist in Action at Maitland's Art and History Museums.
